A jacket that was worn by Elvis Presley in the 1968 MGM car racing film Speedway sold for $20,480 at a Julien’s Auctions sale in 20092. On October 5 2008, a white two-piece custom leather suit worn by Elvis was sold by Heritage Auction Galleries. It sold for £120,000. Hand-written set listsAt a music memorabilia sale held by Julien’s Auctions on November 21st 2009, two set lists hand written by Elvis sold for $18,750 and $16,640. Collectible hairIn November 2009, a single hair of Elvis’ was featured in a sale held by Henry Aldridge & Son in Wiltshire, England. The single strand was estimated to sell for £250. It actually sold for £1,055. JewellerySeveral items of jewellery worn by the late Elvis Presley have been sold at auction. At an Affiliated Auctions sale in December 2009 a 10 carat diamond ring worn by Elvis was sold for $107,500. A ruby ring owned by Elvis was sold at a Julien’s Auctions sale in 2009 for $13,750.
